If you're looking for a great authentic Indian food experience in New Orleans, this is it! I've dined at Namaste Nola a couple of times, once with a larger group, and the second on my own, so I've had the pleasure of trying a variety of dishes. My colleagues all love this place and even my Indian coworkers will attest to the food here. We never seem to have trouble getting a table without a reservation and the staff here is always warm and friendly. The restaurant is not very easy of a find, but it's located next door to a Subway - spot the Subway and look to the right! Surprisingly, the interior is wide, open, and comfortable. Namaste Nola's menu is very extensive. If you're looking for some recommendations, here are a few of my favorite dishes: - GOBI MANCHURIAN: cauliflower & manchurian sauce - CHICKEN 65: chicken strips & fennel seeds - BIRYANI (chicken or lamb) - BUTTER CHICKEN: tender pieces of chicken cooked in a creamy & buttery tomato-based gravy, infused with a harmonious blend of spices - CHICKEN VEPUDU: tender bone-in chicken stir-fried with a medley of spices and curry leaves - KORMA CHICKEN: cashew nut & coconut And of course, always need the garlic naan and a lassi! Delicious, authentic Indian in the heart of downtown New Orleans. Always an enjoyable experience. Will be back!

Service was incredible, everyone was so attentive and kind. Food was excellent, potentially the best Indian cuisine I've had in a while. I ordered off the chef's special menu and didn't regret it. The spice levels of both meals we ordered were perfect. Vibes are immaculate, gorgeous art on the walls, plants as decor, with comfy seating and full bar. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

The service is good. The food was excellent! I had the chicken tikka masala, medium spice. Had a great flavor, and a warm warm heat from the spice. Highly recommend. Also had the garlic naan and the cheese naan. The cheese naan is worth dying for. Try this place out!

Food was great and spice levels were good/accurate. The location is a little wonky, it looks like you are going into a Subway sandwich shop, but they share a front door. Service was a little slow, so plan on being there a while. Overall a tasty stop!

This is an amazing and flavorful place located in New Orleans. We had a very good time visiting this place for dinner. The dishes tasted amazing and the ambiance was also perfect. They also have an amazing photo op. There are restrooms, but you need to access it through another door within the shop which technically leads to the next building. Service is commendable.

We stayed for 4 nights at a hotelnex door, and discovered this just a day before leaving NOLA. Awesome place. Very courteous and welcoming staff and very appropriate decorations and paintings. The painting are of the "Mural" genre. Loved each of them. We ordered a standard "Panner Tikka Masala" but te taste was unque and different, a hint of Hyderabad lingered in it. The curd rice was a bit dry, but really nothing to compalain. I am just getting picky here! Hats off to the chef, who we learned late, was from Hyderabad. Strongly recommend this place to anyoine looking for good, clean delicious Indian food.

We've been staying at the hotel where this resturant is located, smelling the aroma as we walk to our room for days, so we finally decided to try it tonight. OMG!! The food was better than we expected & George, our server, was so friendly & accommodating to our requests for extra sauce that we absolutely loved!! I tried the chicken korma & my husband had the lamb vindeloo. We also shared samosas, fried onion & the chili naan. Everything was flavorful & melted in our mouth! Sooooo good we couldn't even talk, because we were entrenched in the yumminess of it all. 5++ stars for this place, that we'll be back on our next trip to NOLA:)
